Sport and Fashion Tritscher

Everything started when Franz Tritscher, from Schladming, recognised quite early on that he had a real passion for skiing and thus became a ski racer for Austria. Then, as a trainer for the Canadian National Team, he took part in the 1960 Olympic Games in Squaw Valley. He experienced skiing from many perspectives and was convinced that this sport had a future in his home region. With great enthusiasm and foresight, he opened the first ski school in the area of Schladming-Rohrmoos-Planai in 1962. Herewith he played a leading role in the development of winter sports and tourism in the area.

Our passion for ski sport continues growing

Nothing has changed regarding Franz Tritscher’s enthusiasm for skiing, and even today he loves giving advice and helping out in the Tritscher Skischool, although the running of the business now lies in the hands of Michael. He too can look back at a very successful active Ski Career in the austrian national team. As a slalom specialist he was active between 1987 and 1998 and amongst other successes, was under the top 3 in World Cup 14 times. In the 1994/95 season, Michael was 2^nd in total world cup points. He was winner of a World Cup Race 3 times, and won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992 .

Today, Michael runs the Tritscher ski school with its 2 locations in Rohrmoos-Schladming and on the world famous Planai. He keeps modern standards and places a lot of value, not just on best trained and qualified ski instructors, but also on their enthusiasm for skiing and snowboarding, so that all customers can feel this. This enthusiasm for winter sport has made the Tritscher ski school one of the best in the area. This can also be seen in the international Ski Instructor Team. We teach in over 10 languages to guarantee the best skiing experience.
